New Smyrna Beach Flooring

Floors Made for Coastal Living

Sand, salt air, wet feet and Florida humidity are all part of life in New Smyrna Beach, and your floors need to handle them. Pace Floor Covering has been installing flooring across Central Florida since 1981, and we bring free estimates, trained and certified installers and a warranty on every installation to the coast.

Flooring Services in New Smyrna Beach, FL

For coastal homes, we usually recommend floors that don’t mind water or sand. Porcelain tile is about as tough as flooring gets and stays cool underfoot, while waterproof luxury vinyl plank gives you the look of wood without worrying about wet swimsuits or tracked-in sand. We also install carpet for bedrooms, custom tile showers and kitchen backsplashes for beach homes, condos and rentals.

What We Install

Waterproof Flooring for Beach Homes

Waterproof luxury vinyl, including Shaw’s Floorté Pro collection, and porcelain tile are our top picks near the beach. Both are easy to sweep, simple to clean and hold up to humidity far better than solid hardwood or laminate. We’ll help you compare samples and choose a look that fits your home’s coastal style.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend Pace flooring. From beginning to end the whole process was easy and stress free. Steve came by with some samples and measured the space. There was a quick turnaround time for the quote too! Steve has a great installation crew. They did an amazing job and we're so friendly. My family is enjoying the new floors and with new found confidence in our home, my kids finally want to start having friends over to hang out! A big thank you to Steve and his crew (I'm sorry I can't remember names now). Thank you so much for being a great quality, respectable business that we can trust. Hopefully we can have you back for some carpet in the near future!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I could not be any happier with the price, quality of work, or time to complete from start to finish. Steven came to our home, gave us all the options, and even helped us settle on material, and color choice. My wife was speechless with the transformation, she said "it feels like a new home". These guys do awesome work, and it cost much less than I expected. I had a contractor friend verify that they used very high quality flooring, and that it was a great price. We shopped around for weeks before finding Pace Floor Coverings. Best decision we've made in our home since we bought it.

New Smyrna Beach Flooring FAQs

Do you install flooring in New Smyrna Beach?

Yes. We serve New Smyrna Beach and the rest of coastal Volusia County from our showroom in Sanford.

What flooring is best for a beach house?

Porcelain tile and waterproof luxury vinyl plank are the most worry-free choices. Both handle sand, water and humidity well and are easy to keep clean.

Is hardwood a bad idea near the beach?

Solid hardwood can swell and cup with humidity and moisture. If you want real wood, engineered hardwood is more stable, but tile and waterproof vinyl are the safest choices for a coastal home.

Is my installation warrantied?

Yes. Every installation Pace completes is backed by our warranty, on top of the manufacturer’s warranty on the flooring itself.
